Always confirm the required refrigerant before purchasing or charging the system.No. R22 must not be mixed with R410A, R407C, R32 or any other refrigerant. Mixing refrigerants can affect system performance, operating pressure and safety.
Use only the refrigerant specified by the equipment manufacturer. This product is supplied in a factory-sealed, disposable refrigerant cylinder and is not designed to be refilled. Do not modify, puncture or reuse the cylinder.
Follow the cylinder label and applicable local disposal and recycling requirements.Keep the cylinder upright and secured in a cool, dry and well-ventilated location. Protect it from direct sunlight, excessive heat, flames, sparks and other ignition sources.
R22 is supplied as a pressurized refrigerant. Protect the cylinder from excessive heat and physical damage, and always follow the product label and safety data sheet.Properly stored refrigerant in an unopened and undamaged factory-sealed cylinder can remain stable for an extended period. Before use, inspect the cylinder, valve, label and seal for damage, corrosion or leakage.
R22 should be handled by trained and appropriately certified HVAC professionals using approved refrigerant recovery and service equipment.
Refrigerant sales and servicing may be subject to EPA technician certification requirements.R22 is an A1 refrigerant intended for compatible equipment and professional handling. Never mix it with another refrigerant.
